Eco-Friendly Materials
Cutting
Our wooden medals and trophies are made from FSC-certified plywood and native hardwoods, guaranteeing that the wood comes from responsibly managed forests. This certification ensures that our materials support reforestation efforts, protect biodiversity, and respect the rights of local communities.
For slate medals and trophies, we use natural slate, a durable and long-lasting material that’s sustainably sourced, using Welsh slate wherever possible. By working with slate, we not only create elegant and timeless designs but also minimise waste by repurposing slate offcuts for smaller products, ensuring nothing goes unused.We’re proud to use PolyTerra PLA in our hybrid medals and trophies. This eco-conscious 3D printing filament is made from bioplastic and comes with biodegradable properties, aligning perfectly with our commitment to the environment. By incorporating PolyTerra PLA into our creations, we can add vibrant, intricate details to our awards while reducing environmental impact. For every cardboard spool of PolyTerra used, a tree is planted, ensuring that your celebration supports a greener, more sustainable future. Once the tree hits maturity it has the ability to suck in 22kg of carbon dioxide each year significantly offsetting the 4kg required to create a spool of PolyTerra PLA.
